The debut album from Melburn' stalwart - Reason. Celebrating 23 years since its original release on CD only, we are proud to drop on wax for the first time OBR-001. The very first release on Obese Records.
Entirely produced by Jolz, this album is a snapshot of the fertile hip hop movement bubbling in the era of the new millennium. From the entrée to the closer, Reason catches a vibe that only a true icon of the scene can deliver. SOLID features a distinguished cast of Melbourne royalty including vocals by Pac D, Bias-B & Brad Strut, with scratches provided by DJ Kash & Prowla.
The team here at Milesago have utilized new Brisbane pressing plant - Suitcase to press a virgin 140 gram vinyl platter. Mastered by Khesrow for K-Rasta Studio, who meticulously worked over the original raw CD recording so SOLID can be finally enjoyed on the turntables of fans and collector's alike.
Cover art and label design was conceived and executed by Flick @ BURN and is based on his original album design from back in the day, but given a fresh new twist. Printed on a 350gsm jacket with gold & silver spot colour and housed in a high quality Blake sleeve.
